Rebecca Martinson Sorority Girl Resigns After Email Scandal

The sorority s officials have called the email highly inappropriate and unacceptable which it is but does the punishment fit the crime

This is LITERALLY so f king AWKWARD. Sorority sister/folk hero Rebecca Martinson resigned as chair from the University of Maryland chapter of the Delta Gamma sorority after the passionately violent email she sent to her sorority sisters went public on April 18.

Rebecca Martinson Resigns After Expletive Filled Email Goes Public

On Delta Gamma s Facebook page the sorority announced Rebecca s resignation Delta Gamma has accepted the resignation of one of its members whose email relating to a social event has been widely distributed and publicized As all reasonable people can agree this is an email that should never have been sent by its author. Period.

Delta Gamma also called their former chairperson s actions highly inappropriate and unacceptable.

Rebecca became an internet sensation when Deadspin got a hold of her demanding expletive heavy email. It gave us all a look into the deranged world of Greek living and like a bad car accident we just couldn t look away.

The crux of Rebecca s email was that her sisters were not doing well enough in the Greek community and that their lack of effort was bringing a bad name to Delta Gamma. Rebecca was simply not going to tolerate it anymore

I do not give a flying f k and Sigma Nu does not give a flying f k about how much you f king love to talk to your sisters. You have 361 days out of the f king year to talk to sisters and this week is NOT I f king repeat NOT ONE OF THEM. This week is about fostering relationships in the Greek community and that s not f king possible if you re going to stand around and talk to each other and not our matchup. Newsflash you stupid c s FRATS DON T LIKE BORING SORORITIES. Oh wait DOUBLE F KING NEWSFLASH SIGMA NU IS NOT GOING TO WANT TO HANG OUT WITH US IF WE F KING SUCK which by the way in case you re an idiot and need it spelled out for you WE F KING SUCK SO FAR.

That s just one paragraph Rebecca might of let her anger get the best of her but at least she was trying her best right And we hardly suspect that Rebecca is the only person guilty of taking Greek life too seriously.
