American Idol judge Nicki Minaj has ruled out ever performing a duet with co-star Mariah Carey on the singing competition's stage. Although the "Starships" hitmaker and the pop diva bickered non-stop during the audition rounds, the two outspoken divas have remained civil during the latest episodes of the hit talent show.
And even with their rivalry pushed to the backburner, Minaj admits to E! News that she still won't perform a duet on "Idol" with Carey any time soon. While pretending to choke someone, Minaj joked, "Unless, it looks like this," before adding, "I don't know. God bless her though ... I mean, that'll never happen." The judges and the contestants will appear live for the very first time this season as the top 20 contestants perform on Tuesday.
