Lee Thompson Young did not leave suicide note source

LOS ANGELES Production of TNT's Rizzoli Isles has been suspended for the week as investigators continue the hunt for clues as to why cast member Lee Thompson Young committed suicide.

Young 29 was found dead Monday morning in his North Hollywood apartment with a self inflicted gunshot wound to the head police said.

It's still a mystery. Evidently he was a clean cut kid who didn't use alcohol and had no reported drug problem a law enforcement source told the Daily News Tuesday.

The source said investigators recovered a gun at the scene but had not found a suicide note as of late Monday.

Cops discovered Young s body after he missed a call time on the set of Rizzoli Isles and police were called.

The hit Boston Police drama immediately halted production as news of his tragic passing spread.

They plan to remain dark for the rest of the week a source close to the production told the Daily News.

The source said it was too soon to discuss how producers might move forward with scripts that include Young's cop character Detective Barry Frost.

We're all just in total shock his mom Velma Love told The News Monday.

It is with great sadness that I announce that Lee Thompson Young tragically took his own life his longtime manager Jonathan Baruch said in a statement.

Lee was more than just a brilliant young actor. He was a wonderful and gentle soul who will be truly missed Baruch said. We ask that you please respect the privacy of his family and friends as this very difficult time.

Young originally from South Carolina rose to fame in the leading role of the Disney Channel series The Famous Jett Jackson and also portrayed running back Chris Comer in the 2004 movie Friday Night Lights.

Actor Jordan Bridges who plays Frankie Rizzoli the onscreen brother of series co star Angie Harmon posted a final farewell on Twitter.

Goodbye Lee_T_Young Bridges tweeted Monday. I am shattered at your startling departure. It was an honor to work with you. Love and Prayers to your family.
