Before Michigan State University takes on Stanford in today's Rose Bowl fans worldwide will spend New Year's Day watching another tradition the Rose Parade 2014.

The 125th Rose Parade Live in Pasadena Calif. will air on several networks ABC NBC Hallmark HGTV Los Angeles station KTLA5 Red TV Sky Link Family Net and Spanish network Univision.

It's one of year's biggest TV and online events. The Pasadena police department estimates more than 700 000 spectators will line the five and a half mile parade route. And 10s of millions of people worldwide watch the telecast every year.

Al Roker and Hoda Kotb will lead NBC's coverage. This is Al s 17th year as host of the New Year s Day celebration and the first year for Hoda.

I typically watch HGTV it's fun to get a broader knowledge of the roses.

And I always stop by Univision just for fun.

Last year I stumbled upon this UStream version which might be fun to watch too. (Live streaming video below.)

The 125th Rose Parade themed Dreams Come True will feature 48 floral floats 20 marching bands and 16 equestrian units. It airs at 11 a.m. ET.

Fans can watch a live stream of the festival on WatchABC.com.

And you can watch a Live Stream on KTLA. A replay of last year's parade is on now

Want to know the parade lineup I found the list of floats and bands on the Tournament of Roses website at www.tournamentofroses.com.

Also on the Rose Parade website I found the official program which is available digitally for the first time in the history of the parade. (It costs $10 along the parade route.)

You can download it for free from the Tournament of Roses website www.tournamentofroses.com or the iTunes app store. The bonus digital content includes video clips of the Grand Marshal and Royal Court as well as audio clips highlighting each individual parade entry.

As for the game it airs at 5 p.m. ET (ESPN) and the MSU Spartans vs. Stanford.
