Former adult film star Jenna Jameson may be charged with misdemeanor battery after she was arrested in Newport Beach. Authorities say Jameson, 38, was accused of assaulting someone at a home on the upscale Balboa Peninsula Saturday night. The alleged victim made a citizen's arrest and called police.
Jameson was given a court date on a misdemeanor battery charge and released on her own recognizance. On Twitter, Jameson claimed a friend broke into her home and robbed her. The Tweet has since been removed. The former porn star was arrested for drunken driving in May after slamming into a light pole in Westminster. She pleaded guilty and was sentenced to three years of informal probation.

In a since deleted post, the adult actress claims that her friend and personal assistant, Britney Markham, broke into her home and robbed her. “Wow just got Robbed by a friend @britneymarkham she accused me of gusting her, and [then] broke into my home and took everything.” Jameson was arrested in Newport Beach on Saturday night for misdemeanor battery, according to Orange County police. Police told E! News that Jameson got into a physical altercation with someone she knew before her 39th birthday party.
Inquisitr reports that Britney Markham, who’s also a porn star, was on the receiving end of the attack. The alleged victim has since posted a photo of herself lying in a hospital bed on Instagram and captioned, “This what u did to me and u accuse me of stealing”
Jameson was released on her own recognizance and given a court date for a hearing on the misdemeanor battery charge, police said. She tweeted today, “Being liar, a steroid user and a complete bull[bleep]er, must be hard to keep the lie alive....” This is the second arrest in less than a year for Jameson. In May, she was arrested for driving under the influence.
