On Saturday Orb will try to take the second step toward winning horse racing s Triple Crown something no horse has done since Affirmed in 1978.

I wouldn t be telling the truth if I said I don t think about the Triple Crown because I do trainer Shug McGaughey said (via the Associated Press). I try to block it out but if you re in this position anybody would think about it. It s a thrilling thought but we ve got to get by Saturday. If we do the next three weeks until the Belmont Stakes will be a lot of fun.
Orb has enjoyed being the center of attention at the Pimlico barns this week.
