Amazon's European streaming video service Lovefilm has expanded its content licensing deal with CBS Studios. The new multi year agreement grants UK and German Lovefilm subscribers access to past seasons of CBS series The Good Wife and Blue Bloods plus a host of Showtime shows including Californication Dexter and Nurse Jackie.
Perhaps most exciting for Mashable readers is the addition of the original '60s Star Trek series as well as the '90s Star Trek Voyager series.
The deal is similar to one Netflix signed with CBS in November. That agreement extended to Canada Latin America the UK and Ireland but did not include Germany where Netflix is not (yet) available.
