Ed Sheeran added his voice to the One Campaign's fight against global poverty by covering Bob Dylan's searing 1963 song Masters of War for the group's new initiative agit8.

In the lead up to the G8 summit in Northern Ireland next week the One Campaign assembled a roster of artists including Tom Morello Macklemore and Ryan Lewis Sting and Green Day to record classic protest songs as a call to action against extreme poverty around the world. The collection of recordings made for the cause also includes Mumford Sons collaboration with Elvis Costello on Bruce Springsteen's The Ghost of Tom Joad.
