We get the picture. Miley Cyrus doesn t want to be Hannah Montana anymore. But when does that reason run out We ve seen her twerk get super friendly with a foam finger and now get super friendly with herself in bed in the video for Adore You.
Miley Cyrus Adore You Video Should Have Been DifferentSure being naked gets people s attention but so does good music. I ll admit that I m a huge fan of Miley s Bangerz album. It s different fresh and extremely entertaining.
Take Our PollAdore You is one of my favorite songs on it so when I found out it would be her next single I was happy It s a love song written about her ex Liam Hemsworth (ie. the line we re meant to be in holy matrimony ) and showed a side of Miley we kind of forgot was there through all the latex outfits.
That being said the video resorted back to the risqu Miley. We know she just wants to be herself but she can still be Miley and wear clothes. Rolling around in the sheets and the bathtub and touching herself and filming it on a hand held camera isn t exactly what I was hoping for for a romantic song.
Adore You is a beautiful song regardless of the sultry video that goes along with it but it does take away from it.
Miley Yes Sex Sells But That s Not All That SellsWe know Miley is all about the shock factor it s worked for her this year especially. But at this point it doesn t shock us that she s being sexual and showing off her nipples.
At 21 Miley appears desperate to be looked at as a sex symbol. However it s not only sex that makes a star sexy. If Miley stood wearing a dress (yes it can still be short) and really sang her heart out for this song and even maybe got a little emotional we wouldn t mind it
Sexy is technically defined as sexually attractive or exciting. However when you re naked every other day that becomes less and less exciting.
I get it Miley is trying to show that she can finally be herself. But sex isn t all that she is. Her voice is stronger than ever and gets overlooked by all of this or lack there of.

By the way Adore You was NOT written by Cyrus and I very much doubt that Liam was on her mind when she and her producer previewed and selected it for inclusion in Bangerz. Too bad that she felt it was necessary to overshadow the song with her own tasteless exhibitionism. As I read elsewhere maybe she should have matched the lyrics to her video by singing ..I adore ME.. Appears to be more fitting.

I don t listen to her music but I m annoyed with all the constant hate about her as well as Justin Beiber as if there is nothing worse to worry about other than those two individuals. There are some pieces of crap in this world really bad people in this harsh world struggling economy but people instead focus on these two. Of course the media helps.

I like this album and i was never a Miley fan but i have to say ur sensationalism about BEING NAKED is just to get people to click. She ISNT naked she is wearing underwear and a bra and that is much more then other pop stars wear like beyonce and jlo lame wearing clothes so tight u can see the stubble burn on their privates not to mention Taylor Momsen getting nude UNDERAGE and having lesbian simulated sex on stage. I agree. I have loved this so g the minute I played the album for the first time. When I here this song I think of a very open and honest love song. I never once thought of sex. But to me this video is showing how Mich she misses the sex with him and not liam as a person. In my eyes it makes her look shallow. I would definitely like to see something more sincere clothes or not it doesn t bother me but show that she cares about other things and not just sex.
