Singer Selena Gomez caused some concern when she cancelled the Asian and Australian leg of her tour to take some time for herself.Rumors surfaced that she was headed to rehab but according to a new report Gomez is actually suffering from Lupus.
The singer was diagnosed with the disease a couple of years ago according to website Popdust.com and their sources say that she's been coping with recent flare ups that cause fatigue headaches and facial swelling prompting her to take a break from touring.
Selena has been going full throttle the past few years and her Lupus is really catching up with her right now a source tells Pop Dust. She knows that she needs to take some time to address the disease and look after herself better if she wants to live a full and healthy life.
A photo of Gomez returning home after announcing her canceled tour dates showed the pop princess without make up and looking quite tired. If she is in fact battling Lupus that might explain her exhausted appearance.
We hope that this isn t the case but if so we wish Selena all the best and are sending lots of positive energy her way.
