Add plagiarism to Shia LaBeouf's growing list of infractions.
The 27 year old actor turned gossip magazine regular scrambled to apologize after being accused of ripping off a graphic novel writer for his short film HowardCantour.com.
The film released online Monday didn't credit Daniel Clowes but did lift whole passages from the writer's story Justin M. Damiano.

HowardCantour.com written and directed by LaBeouf and starring Jim Gaffigan as the titular movie critic was released at the Cannes Film Festival earlier this year to some critical acclaim.
Once news of the scandal broke LaBeouf tweeted out a series of apologies professing his respect and love for Clowes' work
