PASADENA Lena Dunham writer and star of HBO's Girls remained cool and reasonably civil when a male writer during a Television Critics Association panel here asks her why your character is often naked at random times for no reason.
Dunham's fellow creators weren't nearly so diplomatic.
It's a realistic expression of what it's like to be alive Dunham said in response. If you are not into me that's your problem and you are going to have to kind of work that out.

Dunham said she expects more of the stories to branch out beyond the show's core cast this season and that could mean more diversity. She added that she loves all the characters even when they behave badly and become obnoxious because that only makes them realistic.
