Who said exes who still play a couple on television can't be good friends

If their Best Chemistry win was any indication Nina Dobrev and Ian Somerhalder are still getting along great. The Vampire Diaries couple took home the award after delivering a lighthearted speech about their complicated romance at the People's Choice Awards on Wednesday night.

It's no secret that the former couple who ended their relationship in May after more than three years of dating has an ongoing friendship.

Christopher Polk Dobrev 25 and Somerhalder 35 may have ended their relationship but their characters chemistry still registers with fans of The Vampire Diaries. The ex couple appeared onstage to receive the award.
